DW NOTE
Central banks bought 1,037 tonnes of gold in 2023 — a record — then maintained that pace through 2024. Now in 2026, with the Strait of Hormuz shut since February and US inflation still running at 3.5%, they're accelerating again. The question isn't whether you should follow along; it's whether you can afford what they're buying at $4,477 an ounce.
