Wilson is stating the obvious a quarter-century late. Gold has risen 734% since 2001 because every major central bank pursued the same playbook: expand the monetary base, suppress rates below inflation, and call it stability. The Fed's balance sheet went from $700 billion in 2001 to $7.2 trillion today. Gold didn't enter a bull market — fiat currencies entered a bear market, and gold just sat there measuring the decline.
