The World Bank is telling Zimbabwe not to rush toward making the ZiG its sole legal tender. Zimbabwe has introduced six currencies since 2008 — each one died within three years. The ZiG itself has lost 43% against the dollar since launch in April. The Bank isn't warning against a theoretical risk; it's watching a government prepare to mandate exclusive use of a currency already collapsing in real time.
