Russia’s Perm oil refinery, one of the largest in the country, is on fire this morning following a Ukrainian drone attack.

Ukraine is systematically dismantling Russia's refining capacity while the Strait of Hormuz remains choked. Perm processes 262,000 barrels per day — roughly three times the daily flow now passing through the Gulf chokepoint. Moscow can pump all it wants; if it can't refine domestically or ship through contested waters, crude in the ground is just geology.
