DW NOTE
The Fed held rates at 3.65% through a supply shock that erased 4% of global oil supply and closed the Strait of Hormuz for two months. Gold fell 17.2% from its January high of $5,318 anyway. If higher rates couldn't stop the rally on the way up, they won't sustain the drawdown on the way down — central banks don't set the price of insurance against currency debasement, crisis does.
