The climate lobby has discovered fiscal discipline now that governments might spend trillions implementing their preferred policies. When the debt funded lockdowns and industrial subsidies, silence. When it might fund carbon targets that require actual fiscal commitments rather than corporate virtue pledges, suddenly they're Austrian economists. The argument hasn't changed—only who's expected to pay for it.
