Sudan has been in civil war since April 2023. The pound has collapsed 95% against the dollar in that time — not because of "vulnerabilities" but because one faction controls the central bank while another controls Port Sudan, and both are printing currency to fund militias. When your monetary authority is a counterparty to armed conflict, devaluation isn't a policy outcome, it's a certainty.
