Schiff has been predicting dollar collapse since before most central banks had balance sheets worth mentioning. He's not wrong that the Fed has painted itself into a corner—rates at 3.5-3.75% with inflation above target and a $1.9 trillion deficit is the definition of policy exhaustion. But if the crisis were "here," the dollar wouldn't be holding 57% of global reserves while gold trades 18.5% below its January high.
