DW NOTE
Hong Kong imported 100 tonnes of Russian gold in seven months — roughly $14 billion at current prices — while Western governments pretend sanctions are working. Gold doesn't care about G7 communiqués. It moves through jurisdictions that don't enforce other people's foreign policy, and it settles disputes that dollars no longer can.
