The U.S. fiscal deficit is running at $1.9 trillion — 6% of GDP — and the Fed is holding rates through year-end with inflation still above target. Gold is up 6.77% this week not because Dalio said so, but because the Strait of Hormuz is closed and oil supply is falling 4.3 million barrels per day.
