DW NOTE
The World Petroleum Council is meeting in a capital where the airport just took a missile strike. Twelve dead, and the industry's most prominent executives have decided their attendance is optional. When the world's oil bosses won't show up to discuss energy supply during a crisis that has Brent at $104 and the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed, the message is clear: the risk premium they've built into crude futures doesn't cover their own physical safety.
