The IMFC releases a statement on debt restructuring improvements once or twice a year. They have done so regularly since the Common Framework was announced in 2020. Sri Lanka restructured. Zambia restructured. Ghana restructured. Ethiopia is still negotiating. The median time from default to final agreement under the framework is 38 months. That is not a process — it is a sentence.
