Saudi refinery attacks in the midst of a Hormuz blockade are not a geopolitical wildcard — they're tactical redundancy. Iran has already choked off 20% of global oil supply at the strait. Houthi strikes on Aramco infrastructure compound the pressure but add little that the February closure did not already impose. WTI at $84 and Brent at $90, both down more than 20% from yearly peaks, suggest the market has priced in disruption and found alternative routing or demand destruction sufficient to keep prices range-bound.
