If October hike prospects are now fading, it suggests the September move was already a policy error — tightening into a supply shock that has cut global oil output by 6% and closed the world's most critical energy chokepoint for eight days running.
Bitcoin fell 0.4% to around $79,700 since midnight UTC while Asian tech stocks rallied. The DeFi index dropped 1.8%, and the Fed is set to begin a two-day meeting.
