The Dutch central bank repatriated 86 tons from London in Q2, joining Poland, Hungary, and Turkey in the same direction. Every one of these moves happened while the 10-year yield was climbing toward 4.77% and gold was falling 16.7% from its January peak. Central banks don't bring metal home when they expect stability — they do it when they expect claims to matter more than paper.
