DW NOTE
Central banks have added 1,100 tonnes of gold annually for three consecutive years while their dollar reserve share has fallen from 71% in 1999 to 58% today. Calling this "silent" requires ignoring the World Gold Council's quarterly reports, the IMF's COFER data, and the PBOC's monthly statements. The only thing silent is the willingness to admit what the published figures say plainly.
