The Dutch central bank joins Austria in pulling gold reserves from New York — hardly a surprise when the Fed is printing to fund $1.4 trillion deficits while the Strait of Hormuz stays blocked for month six. Central banks don't repatriate hundreds of tonnes on a hunch; they repatriate when they've stopped trusting the custodian's balance sheet or the jurisdiction's respect for property rights.
