Saudi Arabia lost 4 million barrels per day when Iran still controlled the Strait anyway. The kingdom's options for moving oil were already reduced to pipelines and Red Sea routes — now one of those pipelines is down for months during the worst supply shock in five decades. The IEA already forecast a 5.7 million barrel per day global deficit for 2026. This makes it worse.
