Bitcoin fell 2% to $77,363 after U.S. strikes on Iranian targets — the first direct military action since the ceasefire agreement in June that was supposed to reopen the Strait. That ceasefire is now 186 days old and the Strait remains 90% closed with 2,000 ships still stranded in minefields. Investors are pricing the risk that the deal is dead.
