DW NOTE
The BOK is building the rails to turn every won into a trackable digital claim on a central bank ledger. Nine banks will issue deposit tokens using BOK infrastructure — which means the central bank controls the standard, the settlement layer, and ultimately the switch. This isn't innovation, it's the replacement of commercial bank money with a government-run database where every retail transaction can be monitored, frozen, or reversed at the protocol level.
